In 1995, God spoke to Apostle Ernest through Brother Polycarp Keta that He would use him to bring a lot of harvest to His Kingdom and much signs and wonders would follow his ministry. In October 1999, God spoke to him clearly that He was sending him to liberate His people. He caused him to come out of his employment and launch into full-time ministry. In the year 2000, God started showing him Visions of conferences, crusades and a lot of fish lying on top of Rivers awaiting somebody to pick them up. This continued for a long time. God was preparing him for new assignments in his life that would shape his destiny.

In September 2001, God spoke clearly to him that he should start a Ministry. He didn’t know anything about running a church, or registration procedures. God connected him to people with whom they started the Ministry. The LORD gave him the name of the Ministry as Alpha Missions Deliverance & Healing Ministry. The Ministry was fully registered in 2004.

In 2008 Apostle attended a conference in Kitale and a prophetess called Marion from USA prophesied to him that God was calling him into the apostolic office. God said many people would come under his wing and find warmth, even the wounded in spirit would be healed. This was confirmed by Prophet Wilfred Ngwanyi in 2010. Through this prophet, God said that Apostle Ernest should be ordained and confirmed in that office the same year. He was ordained and confirmed in that office by our Bishop Chris Mwenesi the same year.
