Mandate 

It is our prayer that the Holy Spirit empowers us to continue maintaining a trans-denominational approach to ministry. We are not empire building. Alpha works through involvement in various Gospel missions both within and outside the country. In short-term and long-term missions we deal with the reaching out to the lost and hurting, discipling seminars and spiritual forums across and beyond denominational lines; religious structures and persuasions. The focus is on spiritual life and maturity without which we cannot claim to attain to the full stature of Christ. We also deal with issues on church leadership.

There are many believers who are simply content with following religious routines having been erroneously taught that a combination of certain pious activities are enough to see them through a life of victory and fulfillment. After several years of struggle and failure they eventually come to ask themselves whether there is really more to this life than meets the eye. They seem to stagnate in their spiritual walk while disturbing events that they have no answers for haunt them constantly, while triumph evades them and with time only appears to seem like a foggy myth.

The sin and bondage that entered in to the world at the time of the fall of man in the garden of Eden has in many ways been at the heart of the struggles he daily faces to improve himself.

• We believe in the mandate from the Lord Jesus Christ to liberate individuals from the power of sin as a result of the Adamic nature.

• We believe also in the mandate to liberate individuals from the captivity of the devil and from all forms of demonic bondages that include poverty, occultism, evil inheritance, infirmities, curses, dedications, idolatries, false religion and others.

These are some causative factors that make persons live through and encounter situations in their lives that are unnatural and need to be addressed spiritually..
